Thoughts: This was even better than I could have imagined. I loved Amelia and Sam, and Maddox was a great blend of both of them. At the end of Part 1 I wanted to wring Maddox’s neck for his stupidity, but it didn’t take long for me to feel immense sorrow for him. He did everything he could to move on from Lennon when she told him she didn’t have a choice and while he made some poor choices, he definitely learned from them. I loved Maddox’s fight to keep Lennon when he got a second chance. He was so devoted to Lennon and their baby and finally fought for it. Seeing Amelia and Sam as grandparents was an added bonus. This was such a fun spin on a royal romance and I’m so glad there will be more books in this series!
