Definitely liked this one better than IWTV, maybe I just enjoy Lestat as a narrator more haha. Prose was really beautiful at times, and reading about both Armand and Marius and their Becoming felt like a really cool history of the vampires thing. Excited to see Akasha wreak havoc in QotD (and for Devils Minion 🥰🥰) Also, Lestat talking about Louis and Claudia at the end,,,, my heart stop omg.
Minus some points for Lestat making out with his mom for a hundred pages uninterrupted, miss me with that shit. I get that becoming a vampire is supposed to completely detach you from who you were as a mortal but he still calls her Mother sometimes pls at least stop doing That lmao
