I really loved Lauren’s first book, Lunar Love, and was glad that this book was just as enjoyable. I appreciated the cameo from the couple in the first book as well.

I enjoyed the mixture of art and science references in this book as well as the sweet chemistry between the two main characters.  I appreciated that the chapters alternated between the female and male main characters.

At times, I got frustrated with the female main character second guessing herself. And the singular focus on his career for the male main character got tiring. But the side characters added depth to the story as well as a strong sense of place with NYC and Los Angeles.

Good, solid first read of the #backlistbooks25 challenge. I am looking for to her next book that comes out later this month.
