Do No Harm: Stories of Life, Death and Brain Surgery by Henry Marsh

informative reflective

4.0

Many reviews are calling the author egotistical and pretentious but I felt like it was an honest and pragmatic take on a very difficult career choice. I enjoyed all of the gritty case details but skimmed the chapter about the chemo drug approval forum/meeting. I waited a long time to read this book from my library but this topic interests me greatly so it was worth the wait.
