I really liked how gory this got for a YA horror!
I really loved the writing. It reminds me a little of the writing style of We Were Liars, in the chopped sentences and similar stylistic choices.
I really liked the characters and how this story taught me so much about Japanese culture and folklore.
Overall, this is a really good YA horror featuring ghosts/spirits and posession that doesn't shy away from the gory details!
