Molly and Alex were both amazing characters in their own right. Alex's relationship with her mother was heartbreaking, and Molly's social anxiety was done so well and it wasn't automatically fixed by any one thing.
I do think that their romantic relationship could have done with a bit more build up because it felt like they just randomly decided that they were in love rather than having little hints or moments of build up towards it but they were adorable nonetheless.
