I love this book. I don’t often re-read books, but I know that i’ll revisit this soon.
Following Maddie’s (Maame’s) inner dialogue as she navigated a world that was so new to her was TOO good. I felt like I was living life right alongside her, like she was my good friend. Maddie struggles throughout the book with understanding herself, let alone other people, and if that isn’t relatable then idk what would do it for you. By the end, you’ll be full of love and a funny sense of hope for this fictional main character.
This book was just so funny & sad & light & dark.
