Taking His Shot

Happy Sad
If it could be possible to be happy sad. That is what I am. I am happy to finally get Jordie’s story but sad this is the last book in this awesome hockey series. The Seattle Hawks are more than just a team, they are family. This is what I loved most about this series.
Jordie is a rookie on the team. Cocky and self-assured in his talents on and off the ice. His one challenge to get Harper to go on a date with him. How do you get a woman who has vowed not to date a hockey player to date one? This is the journey that kept me reading and once he got her. How does he keep her? The story was more than sigh worthy. It was swoon worthy with a bit of cringe worthy moments. I was her for all of it.
Although I’m sad to see this series end I am glad I was in for the whole thing.
