Ariel: The Restored Edition by Sylvia Plath

3.0

I started reading this collection last fall, but lost interest because it was very difficult to follow. Since there was only a fourth left to read, I decided to finish it. I personally enjoyed reading Crossing the Water more, as it was easier to interpret. This collection is not very accessible, it takes a lot to understand the writing without researching the poems. Still, there is obviously great writing in here. Plath wrote with a fiery pen.
