New favorite book, and I’m inspired to create a personal canon (perhaps I’ve already started and just needed a name for what I have been doing my whole reading life). This examination is sprinkled with memoir and insight and humor and all the fun wonderfulness of a fellow reader book lover. It shall have a pride of place in my collection.
