Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2: Angela by Brian Michael Bendis

4.0

Bendis never really fails, and he does a great job here of picking his spots for the trademark humor and irreverence that sets this title apart. Tony Stark is also a welcome addition to the team adding more fun as we see the Guardians not all that impressed with a real super hero. Additionally, Sara Pichelli is a real up and comer who uses her art to inject just a bit of cartoony quality to match Bendis's goofy dialogue. She also adds just the right amount of detail without over-drawing.

I'm not a fan of the whole Infinity plot line, but Angela is an interesting character, and her interactions with the Guardians are still engrossing despite all the Thanos stuff.
