The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
4.0

Really a 4.5 for me. Rothfuss’ prose is truly lovely. Moments in this book made me genuinely weep not because the story was sad, but because it was deeply cathartic and emotional to see all the strands of Kvothe’s story coming together just so. I had a bit of a hard time with the way the female characters were written, but I also get that the narrator’s perspective contributes to this in a meaningful way. I’m definitely interested to see how the story continues!
