I enjoyed these stories. The writing was excellent and the author showed many different voices. The stories were creative and mostly relatable (even fantastical ones).
Perhaps I missed something in the reading but it seemed odd that at least one of the stories, "drownings," didn't seem connected to the others, which all had connections to each other (same character pool). I particularly liked "drownings," which felt like a fairy tale. Some of the others were quite abstract, like the one about the grief coping tool; I couldn't figure out why the characters thought the tool would be useful, or what the tool even was...
