This book is the perfect example of a strong plot ruined by the plague of too many twists. It started off fresh and intriguing, like it might actually bring something new to the genre. But by the end, it collapsed into a sloppy mashup of every thriller I’ve already read. On top of that, the story was bloated with so many characters that none of them ever developed beyond their worst traits.

Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it, won’t think of it again.
