Great representation of mental health struggles and how a supportive, understanding network helps you move forward and get better. This is the first book I've read about historical medical practices, and it raises points on the ethics of past medical practices in a non-alienating way. I came for the ghost story but stayed for the mental health/medical practice pieces.
