I never realised just how complex and multifaceted love can really be. I love how this book puts just as big of an emphasis on friendship and family as it does on romance. 

Evelyn Hugo is a superbly well written character. She is complex and her story is so fascinating. I was captivated by her as if she really was a super famous movie star, and I loved her for how she acknowledges and tells her story truthfully.
