Ten Things I Love About You by Julia Quinn

This is one of those romance novels that is deliberately silly, so the silliness is entertaining rather than tedious. The "Ten Things" was an annoying gimmick, but thankfully barely used. I liked the characters, primarily for their sense of humor. I am still wondering where the virgin's undergarments went in the scene by the lake -- I think it must have spontaneously combusted. There were bits that felt rushed and sentences that were unclear, characters who were there strictly for plot convenience, and the plot itself was freckled with an abundance of romance novel cliches, but this book still makes for a light, enjoyable afternoon's read.
