Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt

3.5 stars for being well-written and addressing the individual differences topic in a new way for upper elementary students that wasn't terribly preachy. I would have liked to see more development as to why our protagonist was in the situation she was -- the military angle didn't ring true for me, as usually you'd have all sorts of military kids around whose parent was overseas and there would be more support for her situation. Of course, there would be other explanations for why they'd be outside their normal community, but those were not given in the narrative and that made the could-hide-the-dyslexia-because-of-moving suspect.
