This was honestly one of the most relatable books I’ve ever read. The depiction of anxiety in the workplace under a comedic tone was written so well.
To start off with, this book was making me laugh out loud over and over again but as I got to know more about Jolene and the home lives of her colleagues, the story was a lot deeper and I really think it goes to show that the people we work with have an entirely different life outside of the office; and that branches in to treating everyone with kindness because we don’t know what they’re going through behind the scenes.
Seeing Jolene come into herself with Cliff as the story progressed, made me so happy, she deserves so much love and happiness.
I think this book will stay with me for a long time.
