News Of A Kidnapping by Gabriel García Márquez

Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.

I couldn't make it past the first two chapters of this book before giving up. The writing feels like I'm reading a news report and even though I know that this is actually a novelization of something that actually happened, I can't help but feel like the writing of such a celebrated author is very lost in translation. I'll definitely try another GGM book but this is /not/ the one for me.
