The No-Show
by Beth O'Leary
This book was a fun time! The individual stories were great and intriguing the whole way through. The plot twist made me gasp audibly, and I was all the more sucked into the story after that point in time. All of the characters were loveable in their own way, even if they had some troubled factors to them (though Siobhan took a while to grow on me), but Jane was definitely my favourite. All of the couples at the end were so great, and the book had just the right amount of angst to make me sad without it being overwhelmingly depressing. I had to knock a star because of the amount of swearing and the sex/crude humour; that's really not my cup of tea, but thankfully it wasn't SO present that I felt i had to stop reading. Definitely keep that in mind if you're thinking of reading this, though. Overall, though, a great book and I will be looking into Beth's other books!
