Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini

I remembering reading this book when it had first been realised at my local library. I had been obsessed with greek mythology at the time and any form of retelling.

I thought a reread would do me some good, but I do think my teenage self overhyped this book. However, reading this felt nostalgic and I enjoyed it more than I can to admit.

The clear re-imagining in modern day setting and the pure devotion and adoration between Lucas and Helen was everything!

Favourite quote: “Meeting his eyes was an awakening.”
