This book was hilarious in parts were it wasn't supposed to be. Even though it made me laugh I didn't like this book at all. The romance was ok, it wasn't anything especial or memorable. I didn't like any of the characters, I guess you were supposed to like Cassidy so the plot twist would hurt more but I didn't like her nor Ezra.
I think the LGBTQ representation felt kind of forced, they did talk about the topic but it was kind of superficial. They actually mention homophobia but it was really overlooked and I would have liked them to go deeper in the topic.
The ending with the "plot twist" shocked me a little but not that much, I think they should have elaborated more about cassidy's and her brothers relationship. I know they couldn't do that because the book wouldn't work the way it works now, but in my opinion it would've still make the book better.
I didn't expect them not being together at the end, I thought they would work it out or something. I'm glad they didn't, because their relationship wasn't good. Cassidy always pretended to be fine when she obviously wasn't and Ezra would notice but most of the time he would just go along with it instead of doing something for her.
Also, the male characters objectify women a lot in this book (including the male main character). And the way girls talk about other girls is also really bad.
I wouldn't recommend this book.
