Did not finish book. Stopped at 75%.

I stopped reading because of the constantly reoccurring neuronormativity in the way a few characters were portrayed in general and talked about by other characters. Some scenes were very uncomfortable to read through as a neurodivergent person.

The book participates in upholding harmful neuronormative notions, there's also an ableist cure narrative. (this is a content warning, so I didn't use spoilers)

I would have wanted to like the book more, but I'm really unable to. This is a strong not-recommendation.
