uncomfortable and i am disliking how much i was intrigued by the characters. there’s something about a character-driven study that is haunting and gross. i couldn’t put it down even though i was internally wincing away. 

icicle motif is cool! a lot of different literary analysis went through my head with this story. i know Moshfegh put a lot of thought into it all and i like her style.
