Thunder Rising by Erin Hunter

I know Warriors doesn't really pay attention to genetics, but Lightning Tail, as a male kitten of a female ginger, should have been orange. Then again, Hawk Swoop should have had two ginger parents in order to be ginger herself, and two gray cats made a ginger (Thunder), so...

I liked it, though Clear Sky is getting more and more annoying. I also don't like Wind Runner or Tall Shadow that much. Surprisingly, I wasn't all too upset at Thunder. I can understand him--he was rejected by his father when he was a child, and still yearns for his father's approval. I'm glad he eventually realized that his father is a terrible cat and to go back to the cat who actually cared for him. At last, Gray Wing overcomes his MC denseness. It would've been annoying if Hunter dragged out his obliviousness for any longer.
The bonus scene about River Ripple was pretty boring. I wonder how this will last 4 more books.
