The Angry Birds Movie: Meet the Angry Birds by Chris Cerasi

2.0

Red gets in trouble with bird court due to uncontrolled anger issues and is subsequently sent to anger management class. Led by instructor Matilda, Red and classmates Chuck, Bomb, and Terence are encouraged to talk, paint, and do yoga. Red wants nothing to do with the class and is content only when Bomb explodes and class is dismissed.
Kids may find the book funny and enjoy popular characters they are familiar with from the Angry Birds movie/game, but there aren't really any lessons to learn from Red. He goes to the class as dictated by the bird court but digs in his heels and refuses to participate in anything and models pretty crummy behavior.
The artwork alternates between illustrations closely resembling the CG of the movie and cruder but still attractive ones resembling paintings or crayons. Unfortunately, the art doesn't do much to help the paltry story of a bird with a bad attitude.
