Well, well, well, look who read the 2nd book in this series! Let me just start off by saying the 2nd book was significantly better than the first. That being said, the main guy is a walking red flag, but also hot. I’m sorry ladies, I should be stronger but sometimes the fictional men get a pass 😔

Why are all the best mafia/morally grey PI (FBI but not FBI?) guys named Christian. I’m looking at you Twisted Lies (I fear the day one of my friends reads that book and figures out why I rated it 5 stars when it is most definitely not a 5 star book). I think it’s the Scorpio in me that is like, yeah ok, these guys are bad, but at least they can pull off being bad ya know? Like, they are good at their job, quiet & loyal to their person, and stand on their business! 

Again, there really isn’t a plot to these books, and as always miscommunication is always rampant, but there would be no story if it was easy. I can relate to the main guy in this one, cause I to don’t like sharing a ton of info about myself. Sometimes you just have to move in silence 🤐 (but not the kind this guy does, cause yes, that is unhealthy). 

Will I read book 3? I guess we will find out, but for now I need to venture back to my other series and read it before my vacation comes to an end.
