Did not finish book. Stopped at 43%.

Yeah, romance novels are just NOT for me. One of the main reasons is that the premise is often to push the mainstream toxic and harmful narrative of an all consuming obsessive feeling as 'what real love is', f that. I was hoping that this book would be more transgressive, which I don't think it is. So I will put it on DNF for now, but if someone who read it can tell me that there will be a HUGE SHIFT, I might give it another go. Also, it is pretty annoying and disappointing that the queer storylines are often just used as a side note and deco for the cishet all consuming 'loves'.
