I love a good enemies-to-lovers story, and this one didn't disappoint. Drew and Aron start out as baseball rivals who end up in a heated physical fight on the field, instantly becoming famously known for their hatred for each other. Skip forward, and both get traded to the same team and forced to get along as teammates (AND roommates...heh). Of course, things happen and their dislike of each other dissipates rather quickly.
Having to navigate a new relationship-- a same-sex relationship that neither had ever entertained the thought of and deal with prejudice within the MLB, Aron and Drew fight their way to a sweet HEA. There are a lot of spicy scenes, though the scenes aren't all that detailed and left me wanting for more juicy details and/or longer scenes. Spice factor 3/5.
There are two books in this series, though there are a couple that are sort of their own side stories of other characters that appear in this book. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had already read Dibs (Matthewson's story) not long ago and it hadn't even crossed my mind that some of the names were familiar. Derp! I totally recommend that story as well :)
