Read based on my thorough enjoyment of A Gentleman in Moscow. This one is faster out of the gate (also being more familiar with mid century US history than I am with revolutionist Russia, I didn’t get sidetracked on looking up as many setting details). Overall loved the various viewpoints and the characters. Confused as to why some characters had their chapters in 1st person and some in 3rd. Also a couple characters who I’d have liked to hear more from. I do like a resolved ending, and this one left a lot up to the reader.
