Ridiculous!
by D.L. Carter
Halfway through I was loving this book. I was amused by the premise and I enjoyed the story and the writing. For the first 3/4 it felt like a cross between "As You Like It" and "The Importance of Being Earnest" set in a Jane Austen novel.
The feel changed near the end and
SPOILER: it got a little graphic sexually.
I still liked the story and still recommend it, but I probably could have done with a little more blowing curtains and ... Instead of explicit description. I guess I felt the improbability of the start was such fun and the ending was too conventional-romance novel for me.
