A highly recommended book, I was surprised that the first part was a bit slow. It didn't help that uni started and I barely had time to read but the first 30% of the book was not as high tension as I expected. Though the premise was too unique to abandon, and I'm really glad that I continued. 

Will say, being obsessed with each other to the point of destruction... homosexual behavior.
