Attack on Titan, Volume 30 by Hajime Isayama
3.0
It's so hard to rate this. On the one hand, the "big reveal" is epic and re contextualizes everything. On the other hand, I don't think it's handled well.
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
This changes everything, and in my opinion not in a good way. Time manipulation makes it so events in the past don't carry as much weight, and the fact that no one knew that the attack titan had this ability to look forward in time.. I just think it should have been set up better. I guess for me this just makes it so that anything can happen and negates my favorite part of this story- the characters and their motivations. I can tell where this is going now and how it leads to the spoilers I've heard from later chapters and it's just.. not really what I wanted out of this story.
