I thought the premise of this book was interesting but some parts of it fell flat for me. The mystery itself was interesting and the supernatural elements that were present were cool but I wished we gotten more of it. The story felt kind of bogged down by the relationship drama, imo it distracted away from the main plot. I think this is still worth reading, I haven’t read a lot of books set in the Caribbean and the main plot is engaging enough to read to the end.
