here's the list of reasons why I could not finish this book:
• the two protagonists: iris is truly insufferable and declan is a walking red flag
• their whole relationship: me and my syntax textbook have more chemistry than them like?????
• the writing: there's better writing on the walls of club toilets than in this book
• the marriage of convenience trope: why do I keep trying with this one when I know I physically can't stand it...
