I loved this one! I love John and Barnaby, I adore uncle Abel (may I have him every Christmas, please?) and cousin Ivy, and yes, even Dombey.
The story is wonderfully told, funny and suspenseful, and with the always perfectly depicted historical atmosphere that KJ Charles has gotten us used to.
And the romance worked really well, with an apparently insurmountable obstacle that was swiftly and efficiently dealt with :PI mean, who wouldn't trust in an angry angora rabbit? *dies laughing*
Wonderful, lovely and very entertaining. Your usual KJ Charles's book.
