I really enjoyed this story! The world and magic systems were unique and the gothic vibes were on point. The author did a great job with the characters (besides the FMC being naive AF). All in all, this was well-written and kept me invested and the pacing was steady. I didn’t love the FMC enough, she had too many moments where it was unbelievable how dumb she was and it was very predictable (I don’t usually judge books on this but there really were no plot twists whatsoever) so I’m not sure I’ll continue on with the series.
