I wanted to like this book so bad. I honestly liked the premise and beginning of how they had one night together and then couldn't find each other.
Then I was just angry because yeah, why did he give her a fake number? That excuse felt flimsy at best & why did he believe they couldn't be together just because he has kids? If you want someone, you figure it out, you don't just shut them down.
It felt very childish and very immature for people who are supposed to be in their 30's.
Also, Thor as a nickname, was ridiculous & it got cringier to hear the more I heard it.
Maybe because I listened to the audio but I could not for the life of me feel their chemistry after they found out who each other were. She spent so much time trying to stay mad and being stubborn, and would say how much she wanted him and how much he hurt her, but I couldn't FEEL it, she was saying it with words but there was no yearning, no profound expression of why she wanted to be with him outside of sex.
Just a miss for me I guess.
