Red Lily by Nora Roberts

4.0

I could related to Hayley the most out of any of this trio because I understand what it's like to be a young single mom and the fear in entering into any relationship when you still have a child toddling around in diapers. While the ending of this trilogy, at least the final scenes, seemed a little rushed and somewhat anti-climatic, the rest of the novel wasn't just lyrical, but the type of story you can't put down or turn away from. Roberts ups the ante even more in the third trilogy book by not just having a ghost that can manifest and cause damage, but by giving that ghost the power to slip into another's body. It was more chilling than any of the other stories in this trilogy because of that added invasion into Hayley's body which I enjoyed. Over all while it's not my favorite of Robert's trilogies, it's a good trilogy and an enjoyable read.
