Ok it’s official: Freydís Moon is an auto-buy author for me at this point. They are so talented at writing novellas that accomplish so much on an emotional, character-level, without being overwritten or redundant.
This story is warm and gentle. Peter is such a sweetheart and the relationship that Ethan and Peter have is precious.
I’ve also never been interested in having children, but I thought the way the story handled the grief of infertility was very tasteful.
