The Wrong Side of Goodbye by Michael Connelly
4.0

Harry Bosch has two investigations to occupy his time. The first is the pursuit of a serial rapist in his role as a reserve officer for San Fernando police department. The rapist always seems to be a step ahead of Harry but as all fans know, Harry will find a way.

The second investigation is under his private investigator role. He is hired to look for a reclusive billionaires heir. Harry must go back to the 50's to try and find the trail. Along the way he is confronted with his memories of Vietnam.

Both story lines are very good and the continual movement back and forth is smooth and in line with Harry's life. I personally enjoy all of the references to the LA culture (since that is my birthplace). It was also a nice touch to dedicate the book to Vin Scully the Dodgers longtime announcer. There's also a nice discussion in the book about the Dodgers and Vin. Highly recommended for all Harry Bosch fans.
