I really really enjoyed the first volume in this series strictly because it was such a well structured mystery. This sequel is too but in a stereotypical turn didn't live up to the hype of the first book. I didn't connect with this new batch of characters and was underwhelmed by some of the smaller mysteries. BUT I did ultimately devour the last few chapters as the reveals are always incredible. While I didn't love this, I'm still down to continue with the series as I find really well structured mysteries a rarity.
