This book is stuck in my head, making me want to give it a higher rating but, despite my affinity for darker kink, there were parts of this book that crossed the line and no accountability for the perpetrator except for

not getting the girl in the end

Nonetheless, it was really well-written and explored grief in an interesting way. I also liked how it kept me on my toes throughout about where it was headed.
