I was really impressed by this! For such a short story I was blown away by the world-building. I loved how I was able to get such a good grasp on the political tension depicted as well. The banter between the characters was a lot of fun and that ending left me needing so much more! I've rated this one four stars because I found some of the tropes to be pretty standard for a fantasy but overall I really enjoyed this and am excited to read more from this author in the future!
