The Reformed Vampire Support Group by Catherine Jinks

I thought that I'd love this book. I'm not particularly fond of perfect vampires, so seeing that the vampires in this book were meant to be the complete opposite, I thought it'd be a perfect match. Unfortunately, I ended up abandoning this book halfway through.

I think there's a middle-ground between 'invincible' and 'utterly fucking pathetic'. When your story consists of weak and completely unlikeable characters, I see very little point in continuing. When you've taken every interesting power or ability away from your characters, they should at least have a half-decent personality to make up for it. Yet we're stuck with a painfully unfunny and boring narrative.

I'll be avoiding this author in the future.
