So this is book one in the Days of Iron and Clay series which is based in the same world as the Alpha Girls series, however you don't need to have read these books before reading this series.
So this story follows Samantha (Sam) Lopez and she is a Nephilim, her month is human and her father is Astaroth who is Satan's General, and he is the reason why Sam works tirelessly to help those who are unaware that demons are real, so is heaven and hell, and he is always hunting her in order to pull her into hell.
Well what can I say, this book started off strong, I was completely hooked and totally obsessed by the end of the first chapter! I absolutely loved it, the writing style is excellent, it has great pace, the plot is well thought out and has some great twists, the characters are great and I loved them all.
I enjoyed this story so much that as soon as I had finished it I bought the whole Alpha Girl series and I can't wait to read more about these characters.
This is my first 4.5 star read of the year and I would highly recommend.
