This book is a such a polarizing read, and I don’t really have anything of substance or nuance to add to the discussion.
All I can say is that I came for the hype, it was a wild ride, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself in spite of having to pick it up and put it down too many times that I lost count because I was creeped the heck out at every turn of the page.
It was joy to read, it was a chore to read, and was definitely an experience that I will never be able to replicate.
