DNF - I liked the movie enough when I saw it many years ago that I have always wanted to read the book because of its interesting premise, but unfortunately the writing falls flat. I just can't bring myself to care about the characters, and it's so simple and slow. I think if I read this in high school, I would've enjoyed it much more because the writing almost caters towards a younger mindset despite the more adult themes. Meh.
