Really enjoyed this one! Ruth Ware is one of my favorite authors and when she hits, she hits. Some of the plot was a bit more predictable than usual for her, but it was a bit of a different kind of book for her. Less Agatha Christie murder mystery and more John Grisham thriller (affectionate). So it wasn’t really about who dunnit but getting to some sort of justice. The story was pretty absorbing; I don’t often get *really* pulled into a story but I did with this one. Overall an enjoyable read!
Moderate: Medical trauma, Murder, Toxic relationship, and Domestic abuse
Minor: Suicide
A character gets an injury that gets infected. Descriptions get a little detailed but it didn’t feel graphic. However if you’re sensitive to that, you may want to give this a miss.
